The Mike Preis Agency can trace its roots back to 1925. Operating as a full service agency they represent national, regional, and local insurance companies that provide insurance policies to individuals and families as well as businesses and commercial establishments. Currently the agency employs 15 local people who are professional, friendly, and eager to assist their clients.

Mike Pries, Inc. is a fully automated agency that has a customer focused attitude throughout. Part of that focus includes a dedicated commercial lines department staffed with people who only work with business and commercial insurance clients. The personal lines account managers sell and service insurance for individuals and families. The personal lines account managers handle coverages such as auto, homeowners, mobile homeowners, renters, fire, umbrella, motorcycle, snowmobile, boat, ATV, and landlord's policies. Both commercial and personal lines account managers are required to attend continuing education courses and conferences to stay abreast of the most recent changes in both products and coverages.

This department concentrates on the sale of life and health insurance to individuals as well as to employer groups. In addition this department provides information on annuities, and disability income coverage along with an array of voluntary group benefits like accident coverage, cancer policies, life insurance and disability insurance.
